Pilates & Movement Therapy

Intro

Pilates at Heal 2 Live is delivered in a women-only environment, allowing you to move with comfort, privacy, and complete confidence. Whether you are new to Pilates or rebuilding after injury, every session is tailored to your body and your goals.

What We Focus On

  • Core strength and stability
  • Postural alignment
  • Mobility and flexibility
  • Injury prevention
  • Prenatal and postnatal support

Breath & Nervous System Support

At Heal 2 Live, breath is central to every session — not an afterthought. We incorporate intentional breathing techniques that work alongside movement to:

  • Reduce stress and physical tension
  • Support relaxation
  • Improve body awareness and proprioception
  • Calm and regulate the nervous system

This approach is especially beneficial for women managing anxiety, chronic pain, postnatal recovery, or stress-related tension.

Session Types

Mat Pilates

Floor-based Pilates using your bodyweight and small props to build core strength, improve alignment, and increase flexibility. Suitable for all levels, including beginners and those with physical limitations.

Reformer Pilates

Practised on the Pilates reformer machine, these sessions use spring resistance to challenge and support the body with greater precision. Ideal for rehabilitation, strength building, and deeper postural work.

Stretch & Mobility Sessions

Dedicated sessions focused on improving joint range of motion, releasing tight muscle groups, and restoring ease and fluidity to everyday movement.

Posture Correction

Targeted sessions designed to identify and address postural imbalances — particularly useful for women experiencing back pain, neck tension, or the physical effects of prolonged sitting or screen use.

Who Is This For?

  • Women at any fitness level, including complete beginners
  • Those recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic pain
  • Pregnant women and new mothers (prenatal and postnatal)
  • Women experiencing back, neck, or joint discomfort
