Hijama is offered in a private, women-only setting, ensuring comfort, dignity, and ease throughout your session. Our approach is calm, clean, and deeply respectful of both the therapeutic tradition and your personal comfort.
Hijama, also known as cupping therapy, is an ancient healing practice with deep roots in Islamic tradition and used across many cultures for thousands of years. It involves placing cups on specific points of the body to create gentle suction, which draws blood flow to the surface and encourages the body’s natural healing processes.
At Heal 2 Live, Hijama is practised with full attention to hygiene, safety, and client comfort in a calm, professional environment.
During a Hijama session, cups are placed on specific areas of the body — commonly the back, shoulders, or neck. A controlled suction is created, which draws the skin gently upward into the cup. In wet cupping (Hijama), small, superficial incisions are made, and the cups are reapplied to draw out a small amount of blood. The process is conducted with sterile, single-use equipment and full attention to safety protocols.
Each session begins with a personal consultation to confirm suitability and address any questions you may have.
While individual results vary, Hijama therapy has been associated with the following benefits:
NOTE: Hijama is a complementary wellness practice. Please consult your medical practitioner if you have any health conditions before booking.
